Invicti Security

Invicti Security, an Austin-based app security company, was founded in 2018 to provide companies with best-in-class web application safety. According to Austin Inno, Invicti has sold a majority  stake to growth equity firm Summit Partners for $625 million.

The company’s Chief Operating Officer , Mark Ralls, and Chief Revenue Officer Kevin Gallagher are  based in Austin, along with  71 employees. . With its new investment, Invicti has plans to increase its headcount from 35 to 40 percent by the end of 2022 and invest in product development.

With software developments reducing their cycles, it’s made it easier for cyber hackers to attack new web applications. Scott Collins, Managing Director and COO of Summit Partners, explains that Invicti is creating elegant and seamless solutions that protect businesses from web attacks.

Insiteflow

As third-party plug-in solutions become more popular amongst health care systems, Insiteflow is taking steps to integrate more third-party programs into physician electronic health record platforms. According to Built in Austin, Insiteflow has raised $2.3 million to help expand the company’s customer base and proprietary cloud-based platform.

Physicians that use third-party solutions have started using electronic health records to gain data-driven recommendations and other best practice information from external physicians. With the help of Insiteflow’s technology, busy clinicians can now access third-party solutions through their electronic health records without worrying about constantly keeping their systems up to date with how fast third-party healthcare analytics grow.

Lendflow

Announced in Built in Austin, Austin-based tech company Lendflow has raised a $10.8 million Series A funding round that will aid SaaS companies in integrating financial products into their software. Founded in 2019, Lendflow provides embedded lending infrastructure for software companies. In addition to this software, the company also implements ways for easy credit access from business to business. Lendflow’s goal is to provide their clients with simple ways to ingrain financial products into their company while using their branding.

Although small to medium-sized companies are not eligible for loans due to the limited amount of data traditional banks have on the company, Lendflow’s financial products are designed  for the industry’s needs. This opens up credit availability for those unable to get loans from banks because it creates a “clean, pristine profile that banks are looking for.” Currently, Lendflow has 45 employees and plans on adding 25 employees to its engineering, product development, and customer success departments.

Gradient Works

Founded by Hayes Davis and Jenn Deering Davis, Gradient has recently raised  a $2 million seed-stage funding round. The funding round was led by Integ8d Capital with contributions from Valley Oak Investments, New York Technology Capital Partners, and other sale leaders and angel investors. The sales tech startup is building a revenue operating system that helps B2B CROs increase revenue velocity.

The founders of Gradient formerly founded Union Metrics, which is now a part of TrendKite. Silicon Hills News explains that Gradient employs seven people, 85 percent of them being women and minorities. Gradient’s first project, the Gradient Works Assignment, can count  big-name companies like UpWork, WordPress, and GoCardless, as customers.
