    NinjaRMM LLC

After relocating its headquarters from San Francisco to Austin, NinjaRMM LLC announced that it will occupy 4,800 square feet of 816 Congress office tower. Due to its hybrid-remote model, this space will allow about 35 employees to work in the office, according to Austin Inno.

Founded in 2013, NinjaRMM specializes in creating high-performance, scalable, secure, and easy-to-use remote monitoring and  management software  to make business more progressive and profitable for people in the IT world. Since raising $30 million in its 2020 funding round, NinjaRMM plans to focus on hiring employees in the sales and marketing departments. Even though it operates in cities as far as Berlin, its primary goal is to increase employment in Central Texas, which will help the company make its way up in the tech startup scene in Austin.

    ClosedLoop.ai

According to Built In Austin, ClosedLoop.ai, an Austin-based healthcare startup, has announced closing a $34 million Series B funding round led by Telstra Ventures. The funding money will promote new hiring and assist this startup in finding better solutions to create personalized data-informed technology and decisions in the healthcare field.

Ever since the daughter of CEO Andrew Eye was nearly given an unnecessary liver transplant due to a slow diagnosis, he strives to produce solutions that allow customers to build machine learning models that’ll help healthcare professionals predict what the “best next action” would be for their patients. With the help of AI, the technology created could help prevent emergencies such as ER visits and the onset of chronic diseases, as it will identify beforehand who is more likely to experience these events.

    Austin Companies on Inc. 5000

Each year, Inc. 5000 ranks the fastest-growing companies in the nation by calculating their overall revenue growth throughout a three-year period. This year on Inc. 5000, 111 Austin companies have been placed on this list, including a women-led company making the top 30.

Empowering a Billion Women, founded by Ingrid Vanderveldt, is a business education network that focuses on accelerating businesswomen through activation and empowerment. According to Austin Inno, EBW is ranked No. 28 on Inc. 5000 and has seen 10,676% growth within the past three years.

    QuinStreet and One Drop

As remote working continues to be the new normal amongst companies, many tech workers expect to resume a fully remote or hybrid workplace in 2021, according to Austin Inno. In Austin specifically, two companies, QuinStreet and One Drop, are thriving off of remote working and are continuing to find strategies and tactics to make remote working seem as normal as possible, especially when it comes to hiring and onboarding

QuinStreet runs virtual marketplaces that match homeowners and contractors based on what type of professional the homeowner needs. For new hires to feel welcomed and engaged in a remote setting, QuinStreet has created methods to ensure everyone feels comfortable in their workplace. These methods include ensuring all employees have the necessary  equipment and tools and enforcing the “white glove” approach, making it easier for employees to meet and conversate.

Healthtech platform One Drop is an AI-driven startup designed to help people with health conditions. Senior Vice President of People Ops and Talent Miraque Hicks explains that most of their open positions are accessible to remote workers. As a result of its workplace changing to fully remote, many of what One Drop would usually do in-person has shifted to online, such as new hire happy hours and department info sessions. Although switching to remote working can make people feel antisocial, One Drop has done an excellent job of incorporating its usual events to keep its employees engaged and welcomed.
