Yotta Energy

Yotta Energy, an Austin startup that focuses on solar energy rooftop storage, raised $3.5 million in their Series A funding round. This new funding round brings their total to $16.5 million, with investments coming from APsystems. Yotta was also awarded $1.9 million for its new solar storage microgrid deal by ESTCP. 

Yotta was founded in 2017 by CEO and co-founder Omeed Badkoobeh. 

SonarSource

This “clean code” platform, based in Geneva with its U.S. headquarters in Austin, raised $412 million in funding from new and existing investors led by Advent International and General Catalyst. SonarSource plans to use this new funding to hire 150 local employees within the following two years.  

Co-founded by CEO Olivier Gaudin, SonarSource provides tech “clean code” solutions for companies worldwide. 

Clerk Inc.

Clerk Inc., a retail-tech company based in Austin, announced raising $30 million in Series B funding led by Sageview Capital. Clerk plans to use its money to continue developing its software platform to help grocery stores better manage products online. 

Formerly known as Popspots, Clerk was co-founded in 2016 by Don Oelke, Edward Cates, and Marlow Nickell. 

 

QuotaPath

This Austin-based tech startup, QuotaPath, recently raised $41 million in series B funding, coming on the heels of $21.3 million in a Series A round. This funding will be utilized to increase paid users and triple their employees. 

Co-founded in 2018 by CEO AJ Bruno, Cole Evetts, and Eric Heydenberk, QuotaPath enables sales teams to calculate their commissions and track progress towards quotas.
