Posted on 25th August 2020 by Savannah Mazanowski

Winning a coveted award is an accomplishment for a company of any size. And Inc.’s prestigious 5000 Fastest Growing Companies award is no different.

To be considered for the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies list, businesses must have had a minimum revenue of $100,000 in 2016 and a minimum revenue of $2 million in 2019. Achieving such revenue growth over the course of three years is a testament of the entrepreneurial aptitude these companies embody. This year, 113 Austin-based companies landed a spot on the list.

Though no companies in Austin were included in the top 10, here are seven that made the top 500.

    Quality Innovation (60)

Quality Innovation, founded in 2000, was the first Austin-based company to score a place on the Inc. list, coming in at number 60. Representing the Government Services sector, Quality Innovation provides soldier and family services, service desk, and consulting services to customers in government and commercial jobs. Led by Rusty Lingenfelter, Quality Innovation’s revenue increased by 5,076% over three years.

    Kinect Solar (130)

Led by Lauren Carson, Kinect Solar achieved 130th place for earning a 2,812% revenue increase over the past three years. Kinect Solar was established in 2015 and strives to address industry challenges met by manufacturers, distributors, and large EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) companies within the solar energy industry.

    Sedera (193)

Founded in 2014, Sedera is a healthcare company focused on empowering businesses and individuals to take control of their medical expenses. They do this by leaning on community and implementing a medical cost-sharing model which ultimately lowers monthly expenses and out-of-pocket costs. Sedera is led by Jamie LaGarde and came in 193rd place with a revenue increase of 2,183%.

    Basemakers (386)

Coming in at 386 on the list is Basemakers, an outsourced field sales company that strives to increase in-store visibility for food and beverage brands. The retail merchandising company was founded in 2015 and is led by Max Baumann. Over the past three years, Basemakers earned a revenue increase of $1,196%.

    Iris Telehealth (397)

Iris Telehealth is a telepsychiatry company that serves community mental health centers, community health centers, FQHCs (Federally Qualified Health Centers), hospitals, and health systems. Iris Telehealth ranked 397 with a revenue increase of 1,168%. Founded in 2013, Tarik Shaheen leads the midsize company.

    Pathway Vet Alliance (431)

Founded in 2003, Pathway Vet Alliance is committed to creating opportunities for veterans and veterinarian professionals by providing operational support, tools, and resources. Led by Stephen Hathway, Pathway Vet Alliance ranked 431 with a revenue increase of 1,065%. This is the third consecutive year Pathway Vet Alliance has appeared on the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Company list.

    Digital Thrive (473)

Though the company was founded in 2012, the Digital Thrive team possesses over 20 years of experience in direct response media. On the Inc. 5000 list, Digital Thrive ranks 473 and their revenue increased by 969%. The company is led by Jennifer Mansfield and operates with less than 10 employees.
