David Kemmerer, Mitchell Cookson, and Lucas Wyland founded CoinLedger, previously known as CryptoTrader.Tax, in 2018 as a tax reporter for cryptocurrencies. CoinLedger just raised $6 million to help scale their current software to fit the demand. They also plan to double their workforce of 35 employees in the next 18 months.
Although some were incredulous when they originally founded the company, the success of their Austin startup speaks for itself. According to Built in Austin, CoinLedger solves the problem of reporting tax on cryptocurrency exchange by integrating different software, wallets, and blockchains to allow users to combine their tax-reportable activities onto a single platform that works with TurboTax.

Wanting to make a difference in the world, Trust Ventures has invested in 22 companies to date including ICON, Oklo, and Sana Benefits.
The Helper Bees, founded in Austin in 2016, recently announced that it has raised $12.8 million in funding through a Series B round.
