For startup founders, you know how challenging it can be to find inspiration on a daily basis. When you’re so involved with doing the work, taking the time to learn new skills or find motivation for the big picture can be difficult. It’s hard to see past the challenges that come with the daily grind of being a startup founder.

That’s where podcasts come in! Podcasts can give you the tools and inspiration needed to overcome these challenges while you learn from some of the most famous founders in the tech world. Listening to podcasts will aid you in gaining more motivation and creativity. In return, these skills learned will help you become a more well-rounded professional, ultimately helping your startup grow and become more successful.

Below, we’ve rounded up five highly recommended podcasts for startup founders, marketers, and investors.

    Acquired

Acquired is a valuable listen for any founder, investor, or operator of a startup, specifically those working for a tech company. Ben Gilbert and David Rosenthal created this podcast in 2015 to be a resource for tech startups. Acquired features special guests such as founders and CEOs of Twitter, Cameo, Venmo, and many more well-known companies. Their guests provide insight into how they started and grew their respective companies into some of the largest, most respected tech companies in the world. Their ideas are practical, proven and repeatable, which means you can apply them to your startup.

    Indie Hackers

When running a tech startup, your main goal is thinking of ways to constantly grow and improve your company to increase its profitability. In Indie Hackers, MIT graduate Courtland Allen interviews indie hackers who are turning their ideas and projects into profitable online businesses. In the world of technology, the opportunities are endless.

Indie Hackers provides listeners with examples of how you can create new opportunities for your startup. Instead of using mediocre techniques on improving your startup’s revenue, it’s important to use unique strategies that will make you stand out from other startups. This will help attract customers looking for fresh ideas in the tech community. This podcast will encourage you to think outside the box and get a look into the future of tech.

    The Art of Product

The Art of Product documents the journey of Ben Orenstein and Derrick Reimer as they build software companies. Hosted by Orenstein and Reimer, these two chronologically capture important details in their journeys, such as meetings, marketing, product management, and customer service.

Whether you’re a founder or an employee of a startup, having someone to guide you can be very beneficial. This podcast is a useful read for those new to the tech startup world. Orenstein and Reimer record their successes and failures which allows you to closely analyze what you should be avoiding and what you should be doing at your startup.

    Rocketship.fm

For anyone working in tech, Rocketship.fm is the ideal podcast to listen to. This podcast discusses concepts that any startup or business person can relate to, such as product management, growth, sales, and funding. The tech world is changing faster than we can keep up. With new technology and growth strategies arising, it’s important to keep updated on new tech scene news. The ideas discussed in this podcast will help you have a whole new vision of product and tech, as it gives you different stories that provide insight on how you can help improve the future of your startup.

    Exponential Wisdom

Created by Peter Diamandis and Dan Sullivan, Exponential Wisdom discusses how important technology is in the startup world. This podcast emphasizes how technology can be useful in two ways: creating opportunities for entrepreneurs and aiding connectivity in innovation around the globe.

Connectivity is highly encouraged in the tech startup scene. Being connected to people and other companies increases customer traffic and brand recognition. Exponential Wisdom is beneficial for anyone who is involved in the startup world and is interested in how to use new technology to help improve their startup.
